　　BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) — By reporter Huang Yue: On the eve of the 37th International Volunteer Day, the All-China Women’s Federation issued a notice to launch the thematic campaign “Studying, Publicizing and Implementing the Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China: Women Volunteers in Action.” In a coordinated effort across all levels of the women’s federation, representatives to the 20th CPC National Congress, women’s federation officials, members of the executive committee, March 8th Red Banner holders, model women contributors, and exemplary five‑good families—among other female volunteers—will go deep into the grassroots to conduct outreach and publicity, and to carry out volunteer services.

　　It is reported that women’s federations at all levels will organize female volunteers to carry out, in ways tailored to local conditions, activities such as visiting women facing particular difficulties, showing care and offering condolences to the elderly and children in the community, fulfilling women’s small but heartfelt wishes, hosting community lectures on family education and family values, and providing on-site legal outreach and consultation. These initiatives aim to help address the concerns, worries, and pressing issues that trouble women, turning the study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China into concrete actions that deliver tangible benefits to women, and bringing the Party’s care and warmth directly to them.

　　Liu Yang, a part-time vice chairwoman of the All-China Women’s Federation and a top‑ranked astronaut with the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Astronaut Corps, has issued an appeal from the Chinese Space Station, in her capacity as a female volunteer, to vigorously promote the spirit of volunteering and the Lei Feng ethos. She calls on women to actively participate in the “Women’s Volunteer Care Initiative,” striving to become builders of great undertakings, advocates of civilized conduct, and courageous dream‑chasers, thus writing an even more splendid chapter of women’s volunteer service in the new era.
