　“Today, the best way we can celebrate the founding of the People’s Republic is to keep advancing this unprecedented great cause.” General Secretary Xi Jinping recently attended a reception marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and delivered an important speech, profoundly summarizing the remarkable achievements our Party has attained over the past 75 years in uniting and leading the people of all ethnic groups across the country, and articulating with clarity the “four must‑adheres” for advancing Chinese modernization in the new era and on the new journey. Over the past seven decades, our Party has united and led the people of all ethnic groups across the country in tireless endeavor, giving rise to two remarkable achievements—rapid economic development and long-term social stability—and ushering in profound, earth‑shaking transformations for China. From abject poverty to thriving prosperity; from a nation on the brink of revival to flourishing industries; from hunger and cold to secure homes and peaceful livelihoods; from fragmentation to unity; from enduring humiliation to self‑reliance and strength—the Chinese people, with the heroic spirit of “daring to remake the heavens and earth,” have forged achievements that have astonished the world, propelling the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation into an irreversible historical trajectory.

　　From the “Chang’e” missions capturing lunar samples, the “Tianhe” space station hosting astronauts, the commercial rollout of domestically produced large aircraft, and high-speed rail technology setting international benchmarks, to eradicating extreme poverty after millennia and maintaining its position as the world’s second-largest economy while steadily moving toward the center of the global stage—since the advent of the new era, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the cause of the Party and the country has achieved historic accomplishments and undergone historic transformations. China has successfully advanced and expanded Chinese modernization, giving rise to a new form of human civilization.
