Twenty-seven pesticide-related projects will be awarded the Science and Technology Prize, including eight Technological Invention Awards.

Recently, the application and review process for the 17th China Pesticide Industry Association Science and Technology Awards for 2024 has concluded. Following procedures including project acceptance, formal review, and expert evaluation, it is proposed to confer eight awards in the “Technical Invention” category and nineteen awards in the “Scientific and Technological Progress” category.
Among the eight “Technical Invention Awards,” the “Intelligent Workshop for Glyphosate Solid Formulations,” jointly developed by Jiangsu Tom Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Tom Engineering Design Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Tomson Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., was awarded third prize. Among the 19 “Science and Technology Progress Awards,” the green synthesis process development and industrialization of tebuconazole, completed by Jiangsu Qizhou Green Chemical Co., Ltd., and the research and application of key clean-production technologies for the fungicide azoxystrobin, completed by Nantong Taihe Chemical Co., Ltd., were awarded first and second prizes, respectively.
