On October 20, the Pesticide Inspection Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued a letter soliciting comments on agricultural industry standards related to environmental impact testing for pesticide registration. The main contents are as follows.
According to the 2020 annual plan for the development and revision of agricultural industry standards issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, our institute has undertaken the development of two standards, including “Determination of Residues of 57 Pesticides and Their Metabolites in Honey—Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry and Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry Methods.” Drafts for public comment have now been prepared (see Attachments 1 and 2).
To enhance the applicability and effectiveness of these standards, we are now soliciting extensive feedback from relevant administrative departments, enterprises, industry associations, and experts from all sectors of society. The electronic version of the relevant standards can be accessed on the China Pesticide Information Network ( Download from www.chinapesticide.org.cn.
If you have any comments, please submit the Standard Consultation Form (Attachment 3) to the Environmental Review Division of the Pesticide Testing Institute, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, by November 20.
