The United States has revised the maximum residue limits for cyantraniliprole, bromcyhalin, acetamiprid, and other substances in certain food commodities.

According to the U.S. Federal Register, on February 14, 2020, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued a regulation revising the maximum residue limits for cyantraniliprole, chlorfenapyr, prohexadione calcium, acetamiprid, and flutriafol in certain food commodities.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency conducted a risk assessment regarding its toxicological and carcinogenic properties, ultimately concluding that the following maximum residue limits are safe.

It is understood that these regulations shall enter into force on February 14, 2020, and any objections or requests for a hearing must be submitted by April 14, 2020.
