In November, driven by the ongoing tight supply of active‑ingredient products, pesticide transaction prices remained at elevated levels. Overall, the domestic pesticide industry continues to face a challenging environment: follow‑up inspections by the central environmental protection inspection teams have led to production shutdowns or restrictions in many regions, further complicating resumption efforts and exacerbating supply constraints. Meanwhile, upstream raw material prices have risen across the board, pushing costs higher and sustaining a persistent imbalance between supply and demand. According to statistics from the China Pesticide Industry Association, the China Agricultural Pesticide Index (CAPI) stood at 105.53 in November, up 0.66% month over month and 9.00% year over year, marking seven consecutive months of positive growth.
