Nine national standards for maximum residue limits of pesticides have been officially released.

According to the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, following review and approval by the National Food Safety Standard Review Committee, nine national food safety standards, including “National Food Safety Standard—Maximum Residue Limits for 43 Pesticides, Including Paraquat, in Foods” (GB 2763.1‑2018), have recently been officially promulgated. These nine standards are as follows: 1. GB 2763.1‑2018, National Food Safety Standard—Maximum Residue Limits for 43 Pesticides, Including Paraquat, in Foods; 2. GB 23200.108‑2018, National Food Safety Standard—Determination of Glufosinate Residues in Plant‑Derived Foods by Liquid Chromatography.

　　In accordance with the provisions of the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, and following review and approval by the National Food Safety Standard Review Committee, the “National Food Safety Standard: 43 Pesticides Including Paraquat in Foods” has been adopted. Pesticide Nine national food safety standards, including the Maximum Residue Limits (GB 2763.1-2018), were officially released recently.

　　2. GB 23200.108-2018 National Food Safety Standard — Determination of Glufosinate Residues in Plant-Derived Foods — Liquid Chromatography–Tandem Mass Spectrometry Method;
　　3. GB 23200.109-2018 National Food Safety Standard — Determination of Dicamba Residues in Plant-Derived Foods — Liquid Chromatography–Tandem Mass Spectrometry Method;
　　4. GB 23200.110-2018 National Food Safety Standard — Determination of Chloropyrifos Residues in Plant-Derived Foods — Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry Method;
　　5. GB 23200.111-2018 National Food Safety Standard — Determination of Azimsulfuron Residues in Plant-Derived Foods by Liquid Chromatography–Tandem Mass Spectrometry;
　　6. GB 23200.112-2018 National Food Safety Standard: Determination of Nine Carbamate Pesticides in Plant-Derived Foods Pesticide Determination of residual levels of the compound and its metabolites: liquid chromatography with post-column derivatization;
　　7. GB 23200.113-2018 National Food Safety Standard: 208 Compounds in Plant-Derived Foods Pesticide Determination of residual levels of the substance and its metabolites by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry;
