　　BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) — The “Study Reader on Xi Jinping’s Important Expositions on ‘Three Rural’ Issues,” compiled by the Office of the Central Rural Work Leading Group (hereinafter referred to as the “Reader”), was recently published by the People’s Publishing House and the China Agricultural Publishing House and is now available nationwide.

　　Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has consistently placed the resolution of “agriculture, rural areas, and farmers” issues at the top of the Party’s work agenda, vigorously and persistently prioritizing agriculture and strengthening rural development. As a result, historic achievements have been made and profound transformations have taken place in agriculture and rural areas. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on “agriculture, rural areas, and farmers” constitute an essential component of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, serving as both a guiding framework and fundamental principle for advancing this vital work in the new era and on the new journey. The Reader is organized into 16 thematic sections, which elucidate the core tenets, underlying spirit, rich implications, and practical requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s key ideas on “agriculture, rural areas, and farmers,” examining such aspects as the historical context and strategic positioning of this work, its development goals and priority tasks, as well as its institutional framework and policy system.

　　The publication of this Reader will help cadres and the general public to study, in a comprehensive, in-depth, and systematic manner, General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on “agriculture, rural areas, and farmers” work, thereby rallying the strength of the entire Party and society to advance rural revitalization across the board, accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, and strive to speed up the building of a strong agricultural nation.
