North America ranked third, with US$987 million, or 14.6% of the total, and posted the highest growth rate among major regions, up 35.1%. Africa recorded US$665 million, or 9.8% of the total, with a growth rate of 31.6%, second only to North America. Europe’s exports increased by 11.4%, but export volume declined by 2.3%. In Oceania, both export value and volume fell, with exports down 5.9% and export volume down 14.5%.
    Among the top 10 export destinations, the United States ranks first, with both volume and value rising; its export value reached nearly US$1 billion, up 35.6% year on year, while export volume grew by 29.6%. Brazil comes in second, with exports increasing by 21.7% to US$747 million, and Australia ranks third at US$350 million, though both value and volume declined. The remaining major export markets include Argentina, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Pakistan.
    From the perspective of the nature of exporting enterprises, private enterprises have become China’s… Pesticide The private sector remains the dominant force in exports, consistently accounting for more than 50% of total export value. In 2017, private enterprises recorded $3.866 billion in exports, representing 57.2%; foreign-invested enterprises reported $1.623 billion, or 24.0%; state-owned enterprises accounted for $1.044 billion, or 15.4%; and collectively owned enterprises contributed $227 million, or 3.4%. From 2011 to 2017, the shares of private and foreign-invested enterprises increased by 3.4 and 7.4 percentage points, respectively, while the shares of state-owned and collectively owned enterprises declined by 9.4 and 1.4 percentage points, respectively.
