— Report on Derui Group’s Voluntary Blood Donation Event

8 At 8:30 a.m. on the 6th, the Hebei Provincial Central Blood Station’s mobile blood donation vehicle arrived at the Derui Chemical plant. This was a voluntary unpaid blood‑donation event titled “Celebrating the Centenary of the CPC and Carrying Forward the Red Legacy,” spearheaded by the Derui Chemical Party Branch and organized company‑wide. The event saw 48 participants donate a total of nearly 17,000 milliliters of blood.

Even the sweltering summer heat could not dampen the enthusiasm of Party members and employees to donate blood. Following the staff’s instructions, they sequentially completed a series of procedures—filling out forms, entering personal information, having their blood pressure checked, undergoing physical examinations and laboratory tests, and finally donating blood—while the entire blood‑collection site remained orderly and well‑organized. Among the donors were workers from frontline production workshops, marketing professionals, and staff from administrative departments; all rolled up their sleeves to give, lending their care and support to sustain life. At the event, an increasing number of employees joined the voluntary blood‑donation drive, contributing their “Derui spirit” in this unique way and marking the centenary of the Party’s founding with acts of compassion, turning the factory grounds into a vibrant “red” scene.

This blood donation drive was organized in staggered time slots and multiple phases, in strict compliance with routine COVID‑19 prevention and control measures. As an important platform for the company to fulfill its social responsibilities, this voluntary blood‑donation event showcased the DeRui team’s commitment to pragmatism and gratitude, thereby enhancing the company’s positive public image.
