Donate Blood to Fight the Epidemic, Join Forces to Overcome the Pandemic

2020 Year 5 On the 13th of this month, at the initiative of the Derui Party Branch, an event titled “The Pandemic Is Ruthless, But Humanity Is Compassionate—I Will Lead by Example in Voluntary Blood Donation” was organized. Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, the people across the country have united as one to fight the pandemic. To ensure personal protection and avoid mass gatherings, the number of voluntary blood donors in our city has declined, leading to a reduction in blood collection and impacting the blood supply. The leadership team of Derui Chemical has attached great importance to this issue and responded enthusiastically to the Party Branch’s call. Party members and active individuals took the lead in participating, while those who donated blood last May even stepped up to promote voluntary blood donation, sharing important precautions with others. This year, new participants have also joined the ranks of voluntary blood donors. In total, 50 people took part, contributing valuable support to epidemic prevention and control efforts.

At a critical moment, the company’s employees stepped forward to donate blood, using their life‑saving donations to bolster the defense against the epidemic. This not only reflects the company’s high standard of spiritual and cultural development but also underscores the selfless spirit and dedication of its workforce.
