    Letter Regarding the Public Solicitation of Comments on the Draft Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides

    On April 30, 2020, the Department of Crop Production Management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued a letter soliciting public comments on the draft maximum residue limits for pesticides. The specific content is as follows:

    In accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Law on Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products of the People’s Republic of China, and other relevant regulations, our company has drafted the following documents: “Maximum Residue Limits for 147 Pesticides, Including 2,4‑D Dimethylamine Salt, in Food (Draft for Public Comment),” “Maximum Residue Limits for 17 Pesticides, Including Aminosulfuron, in Food (Draft for Public Comment),” and “Maximum Residue Limits for 30 Pesticides, Including Parathion, in Food (Draft for Public Comment).” These drafts are now being made available for public comment. Should you have any proposed revisions, please complete the corresponding consultation forms and submit your feedback to the Secretariat of the National Pesticide Residue Standards Review Committee by May 31, 2020.
