On June 3–4, 2018, the First Executive Council Meeting of the 10th Term and the Second Council Meeting of the 10th Term of the China Pesticide Industry Association were grandly held in Chengdu, Sichuan. A total of 176 heads or representatives from council member units across the country attended the meetings, while 34 council members were absent due to prior commitments. Relevant leaders and experts from the Pesticide Inspection Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, the Sichuan Provincial Pesticide Inspection Institute, the Plant Protection Station of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Agriculture, the Sichuan Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the Environmental Planning Institute of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the Foreign Investment Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, among other organizations, attended the meetings as observers.
