    Announcement by Three Departments on the Issuance of Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food

    In accordance with the provisions of the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, and following review and approval by the National Food Safety Standard Review Committee, the following three national food safety standards are hereby promulgated: “National Food Safety Standard—Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Foods” (GB 2763—2019, replacing GB 2763—2016 and GB 2763.1—2018). Their respective numbers and titles are as follows:
     
    GB 2763—2019 National Food Safety Standard: Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Foods
     
    GB 23200.116—2019 National Food Safety Standard: Determination of Residues of 90 Organophosphorus Pesticides and Their Metabolites in Plant‑Derived Foods by Gas Chromatography
     
    GB 23200.117—2019 National Food Safety Standard: Determination of Copper Quinolate Residues in Plant-Derived Foods — High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Method
     
    The above standards shall be officially implemented six months from the date of their promulgation. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is responsible for interpreting the text of this standard.
