Report on the Summer Internship Week for Employees’ Children at Derui Chemical, August 2019

To show care for employees’ families and children, foster a sense of social responsibility in the younger generation, and help them appreciate the hardships their parents face at work, thereby cultivating gratitude toward both parents and family, the company organized a week-long summer internship program titled “Step into Derui: Grateful to Our Parents, Embracing Responsibility” on August 5, 2019.

A total of three families participated in the event, which followed a structured itinerary including simulated onboarding as interns, factory rules and regulations training, three-tiered safety education, tours of parents’ workstations, and hands-on experience in support‑staff roles.

On the afternoon of August 10, a symposium was held to mark Summer Internship Week. The interns presented reports on their experiences to their parents and supervisors, highlighting that this internship has deepened their understanding of the critical safety and environmental responsibilities borne by chemical‑industry enterprises. They emphasized that even the most ordinary roles demand a strong sense of responsibility, and that professional skills are the essential tools for enhancing one’s capabilities. Yet what resonated most profoundly was the hardships their parents have endured—especially their selfless, tireless dedication, which serves as an inspiring example for all of us. Moreover, their parents’ exemplary conduct, which speaks louder than words, profoundly touched their children’s hearts. During the symposium, the students actively shared their thoughts, expressing heartfelt gratitude to their parents.

“Who can say that a tiny blade of grass can ever repay the warmth of the spring sunshine?” After hearing the interns’ reflections on their experiences, the parents expressed heartfelt satisfaction with their children’s performance. They also commended the students’ growing confidence as they prepare to enter the workforce and voiced their appreciation and support for the company’s summer internship program.

This summer internship week has concluded successfully. We hope our employees’ families will be filled with love, that our children will have a bright future, and that Derui will continue to build on its past achievements as it moves forward!
