Another spring has arrived, and Derui Company is bustling with activity. To enrich employees’ cultural lives and enhance their overall competence and team spirit, the company hosted the “Happy May Day, Derui Has You” cultural event on May 1, 2018. Corporate Culture Knowledge Competition

Through a live Q&A format, employees were briefed on corporate culture and safety best practices, enhancing both the engagement and enthusiasm of the learning process. This interactive session featured rapid-fire questions and answers, with on-the-spot clarification of any doubts. Following a spirited competition, Liang Jun from Workshop One, along with Huo Shuaibo and Shao Huan from the Production Management Department, secured first, second, and third place, respectively.

Calligraphy Competition

By practicing both cursive brush calligraphy and penmanship, we gained insight into employees’ inner character and cultivated their personal refinement, laying the groundwork for establishing standardized templates for professional record-keeping. A total of 28 participants took part in this initiative; through the fluid strokes of brush and ink, they celebrated the quintessence of Chinese culture, while the rhythmic movements of the pen helped to steady and refine their mindset—qualities that our Derui team members are called upon to enhance and nurture. Following a three-day exhibition of the works, Ma Jinqing from Workshop No. 2, Deputy General Manager Liu Haiying, and Zhao Yangan from Workshop No. 1 were awarded first, second, and third place, respectively.

Basketball Relay Race

Through paired collaboration, participants carried basketballs on their backs to designated locations. The venue was filled with bursts of laughter and cheerful chatter, as the competitors thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A total of 18 participants, organized into nine pairs, took part in this event; each pair formed a small team, and any team with a violation was disqualified. Along the course, one could witness seamless teamwork, an unwavering spirit of perseverance, and calm composure—qualities that underscore how this modest competition mirrors the dynamics of everyday work, prompting every member of the Derui team to reflect and learn. After a half-hour contest, Huang Liya and Guo Lina from the Human Resources Department, Ma Yanmin and Yang Shuqiao from the Production Management Department, and Qin Yixiao from Workshop No. 2 and Yang Jiahui from the Finance Department claimed the top three spots.

“Goodwill Ambassador” Selection

We champion corporate culture and promote our core values, fostering gratitude toward our colleagues and our families. Each employee penned on a “Card of Gratitude” the person they most wish to thank, and through a voting process, we selected “Ambassadors of Compassion,” spreading positive energy and shining a light on the many good deeds and kind acts happening all around us. As the saying goes, “When you give a rose, its fragrance lingers on your hand”—we must keep this spirit of kindness alive and pass it on. Though the event concluded that day, the stories of goodness and compassion continue to unfold in our midst.
