At present, there are 29 products containing phosmet that remain within their registration validity period, including 13 single‑ingredient formulations, 14 formulated mixtures, and 2 technical grades. All registered product types are emulsifiable concentrates, and the target crops for control include rice and… Cotton The target pests include thrips, red spider mites, cotton bollworms, stem borers, weevils, aphids, rice stem borers, and Asian rice stem borers, among others. Formulations combining isocarbophos with active ingredients such as lambda‑cyhalothrin, imidacloprid, methomyl, phoxim, triazophos, cypermethrin, fenvalerate, and malathion are available. As of the date of issuance of the public consultation notice, no isocarbophos‑based products remain registered.
Currently, there are four products containing flufenoxuron that remain registered and valid; all are public‑health insecticides. As of the date of issuance of the consultation notice, no flufenoxuron‑containing products are registered.
At present, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is seeking public input on the ban. If no objections are raised by all stakeholders, this announcement is expected to take effect in the near future. Once the announcement is officially implemented, products currently authorized within the specified validity period will face measures such as revocation of their registration certificates or reclassification for export‑only use.
