Public Notice of the List of Closure, Rectification, and Relocation Plans for 497 Chemical Enterprises Along the Yangtze River in Hubei Province

In accordance with the requirements of the “Work Plan for the Closure, Transformation, Relocation, and Conversion of Chemical Enterprises Along the Yangtze River in Hubei Province” (Document No. 24 [2018] issued by the Hubei Provincial Government), the Hubei Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology, together with the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban–Rural Development, the Provincial Department of Environmental Protection, and the Provincial Administration of Work Safety, has compiled and reviewed the work plans for the closure, transformation, relocation, and conversion of chemical enterprises along the Yangtze River, as well as the “one enterprise, one policy” task lists submitted by the governments of various cities and prefectures. Based on this review, they have prepared the “Task List for the Closure, Transformation, Relocation, and Conversion of Chemical Enterprises Along the Yangtze River in Hubei Province (Draft for Public Comment),” which is now being made public. The public notice period runs from September 30 to October 11, 2018. All sectors of society are welcome to submit their suggestions and comments during this period.
