Peanut is an important oilseed and cash crop in China. According to data from the China Pesticide Information Network, 65 new pesticide registrations for peanuts were added in 2024. Among these, fungicides account for the largest share, with 28 registrations (including seed treatments that combine insecticidal and fungicidal active ingredients), covering 10 different formulation types. The most frequently registered formulation is seed‑treatment suspension concentrates, followed by suspension concentrates; the remaining formulations each have five or fewer registrations.

Among the 65 newly registered active ingredients, carboxin accounts for the largest share with 20 registrations, followed by thifluzamide, clothianidin, metalaxyl‑M, and others. The list encompasses a total of 30 active ingredients; the 11 ingredients with only 1–2 registrations are not included.

The target pests and diseases encompass a total of seven categories, with growth regulation being the most frequently registered, followed by root rot.
