Recently, India’s Insecticides (IIL) launched a next-generation, patented insecticide product called TURNER (thiamethoxam 0.4% + bifenthrin 0.8% GB), designed to offer local farmers an effective new option for controlling white grubs and termites.

Turner is an innovative, broad-spectrum insecticide whose two active ingredients are thiamethoxam and bifenthrin, providing protection against white grubs and termites. This product delivers contact, stomach‑poison, and repellent effects, offering a long‑lasting solution.

India Insecticides (IIL) stated that the company is committed to adopting cutting-edge global technologies and introducing innovative, sustainable solutions. Turner is a groundbreaking technology poised to deliver a major leap forward in pest management. Bifenthrin–thiamethoxam is a mainstream combination formulation among current insecticides, integrating the broad‑spectrum, rapid action of pyrethroids with the high efficacy and long residual activity of neonicotinoids. Bifenthrin belongs to Class 3A of sodium‑channel modulators and functions as a neurotoxic agent that disrupts axonal ion channels, thereby impairing neuronal function. Thiamethoxam is a Class 4A nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) agonist; it primarily targets the postsynaptic membrane of insect neuromuscular junctions. By binding to nAChRs, it interferes with normal neural transmission, leading to blockage of ion channels, excessive accumulation of acetylcholine, and subsequent abnormal excitation, generalized convulsions, and paralysis resulting in death.
