BEIJING, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) — According to the National Development and Reform Commission, the commission will work with relevant parties to adopt more pragmatic measures, continuously improve the business environment for the private sector, effectively address the challenges faced by private enterprises, and bolster their confidence in development.
Yuan Da, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Development and Reform Commission and Director-General of the Department of Comprehensive Economic Affairs, recently stated that efforts will be accelerated to advance the legislative process for the Law on Promoting the Private Sector. At the same time, all policies aimed at fostering the development of the private sector will be rigorously implemented. The information‑dissemination mechanism for private enterprises will be improved, project promotion will be intensified, and private capital will be encouraged and attracted to participate in major national projects and initiatives to address critical infrastructure gaps.
He also stated that it is necessary to improve and refine a multi-tiered, regular mechanism for communication and dialogue with private enterprises, ensuring smooth channels for government–business engagement. It is essential to promptly identify, both on a case-by-case basis and from a systemic perspective, the factors hindering the development of the private sector, with the aim of resolving a particular issue, benefiting a group of enterprises, and supporting an entire industry.
